From humble beginnings with the arrival of the founder, Brian Riches in Port Moresby on 11th November 1982, and the years of profound influence of a kaleidoscope of cultural and business experience in Papua New Guinea, the founder has a determination to “make a difference”. The hundreds of friends and acquaintances the unmatched culture and natural beautify of PNG have made an indelible mark – “ PNG has made me a better person” says Brian Riches, a naturalised citizen who has made PNG his home.
In 2021 – inspired by the ‘ Take Back PNG’ catch cry….In setting a new direction for the country, in 2019 Prime Minister Marape has embraced the motto ‘Take Back PNG’ – a motto first coined by Governor Gary Juffa of Oro Province – pledging to make PNG ‘the richest black nation’.
Our business has emerged, not to Take Back PNG, but to aspire to, and to part of, a growing chorus of citizens who aspire to the philosophy of Prime Minister Marape indicated that the underlying mission of his government is to take PNG back from the various forces that have undermined the country’s potential and have disrupted its progress. Marape’s ideology to ‘Take Back PNG’ is, therefore, a call for PNG to undergo a social, economic and political self-assessment, reforming people’s self-esteem and attitudes, institutional cultures, and governmental operations.
