The Deputy Director (Transport) is accountable to the Director, Economic Development Division and is a member of the extended SPC executive management team headed by the Director-General. The role is the principal focal point within the SPC executive for the regional transport sector and leads and manages the SPC Transport Programme. Responsible for overseeing the strategic development and direction of the Transport programme, leading a small but growing team of diverse professionals, efficiently managing and accounting for an annual budget of US$3 million and driving the implementation of the Framework for Action on Transport Services in the Pacific.

Recruited to manage the day-to-day analysis and optimization of Digicel’s PNG organization’s business processes in order to improve overall organization performance. Coordinated analysis of operational and performance data and identified opportunities to align business processes with information technology and Human Resource optimization in customer service delivery; Worked with Operations and Stores/inventory.

In the capacity of CEO PNG Ports I was responsible to liaise with several Government Departments and agencies, developing rapport and strategic communication channels with the Ministers and Secretaries of the Department of Transport, the former Dept of Public Enterprises and the Minister for Public Enterprises. Also required working with and liaising with the Secretary for Planning and the Secretary for Finance and both their Ministers (and many others).
Effectively transformed the organization from an inefficient, non-profitable and directionless organisation to the dynamic responsive and highly profitable organization it is today though my leadership and direction setting. Provided dynamic overall management capacity in service delivery through initiatives and best practice work standards, like;
